Fox Carolina's Town Takeover Coming July 24
Many of you saw Fox Carolina's Town Takeover when it hit Travelers Rest a couple of years ago. They had so much fun they are returning July 24. Information from their press release is below. Let's all come out and show them a great time!
"It’s a televised block party, street festival and a pep rally all in one. This series is going to be so big, our sales team is getting involved. They’ll be contacting business owners in your town over the next several weeks."
Travelers Rest Emerging Themes
The Chamber had a phenomenal meeting on May 8 at Green Valley. Arnett Muldrow presented the findings of their recent market analysis for Travelers Rest. The PDF file from the presentation can be found here.
Dianna Turner, City Administrator, also shared the following:
"The City is in the process of updating our Comprehensive Plan. We have put a public input survey on our website http://www.travelersrestsc.com/life/bulletin.php for interested persons to complete. This form can be scanned and emailed back to me, faxed to 834-7270, or dropped off at City Hall. We will use this information to help guide us in planning for the future land use and programs and services for the City. We welcome everyone with an interest to provide their input."

Dianna Turner, City of TR, Named Business Person of the Year
On Tuesday, March 13, the Greater Travelers Rest Chamber of Commerce recognized Dianna Turner, City Administrator for Travelers Rest, SC, as the Business Person of the Year.
